My name is Kathryn and I’m a forty-something transgender woman. This blog exists to share my experiences and to provide an outlet for my thoughts and feelings.
Anything I post here comes with a standard disclaimer that not all transgender people share the same experiences, internally and externally, so please bear that in mind if you or somebody in your life is questioning.
The best thing you can do with the information here and out there elsewhere on the internet, is to read and digest it, and to then simply eschew all that does not seem relevant to you.
The worst thing you can do is to use somebody else’s experience as a benchmark to determine the validity of your own. So if you don’t experience something that I do, or you do experience something that I don’t, then don’t read into it as evidence of your own validity.
There are no rules or guidelines, only your own personal feelings in the context of your own existence. Be honest with yourself and true to your own emotions and let them guide you, and the rest will fall into place as your thoughts and feelings align.
